BJ Koh

🚹 Liver Cancer | Testimonial dated December 2024

A Surprise Diagnosis in 2018

What started as a simple scan for kidney stones turned into something far more serious.

In May 2018, a CT scan revealed a tumor on BJ’s liver, measuring 7 by 8 centimeters. Though it was caught at an early stage (Stage I–II), the size raised concern. He had surgery in July—but part of the tumor, wrapped tightly around a major vein, couldn’t be removed.

Relapse and 22 Rounds of Immunotherapy

BJ followed through with all post-op protocols—monthly checkups and quarterly scans. But a year later, the cancer returned. By then, the COVID pandemic had begun, making access to care more complicated.

He underwent 22 rounds of immunotherapy over the span of 1.5 years. It wasn’t as invasive as chemo, but the side effects hit hard: severe skin flare-ups, fatigue, and appetite loss. “It drained me,” he said. “Even walking or eating was difficult.”

Exploring Gentler Options

Towards his final rounds of immunotherapy— when the side effects were becoming more and more unbearable—BJ came across a video testimony shared by another cancer patient, Irwin, who had successfully fought cancer using naturopathic (Siddha Medicine herbs) treatment.

That moment shifted something in him. He reached out to Irwin, and through this connection, he was introduced to Siddha Medicine herbs. BJ eventually stopped immunotherapy and chose a gentler, more integrative approach instead: anti-cancer nutrition & lifestyle on top of the Siddha Medicine herbal protocol. After 7 months on the herbs, BJ’s appetite returned, energy improved, he regained weight and overall he feels much better.

Naturopathic (Siddha Medicine) Works for BJ

Having gone through both the surgery and immunotherapy. BJ expresses that mainstream treatment often overlooks how much support the rest of the body needs during recovery.

To him, it’s not about choosing between mainstream or traditional medicine—it’s about supporting the body from all angles. He believes more patients should have access to naturopathy, especially when the side effects of allopathic treatment start to overwhelm the body.

Where He Is Now

As of January 2025, BJ maintains his health with Siddha Medicine herbs. He still goes for regular scans and check-ups. He keeps his routine simple: a clean diet, daily sunlight, moderate exercise, quality rest, supplements, and staying aware of how his body responds to everything.

“I don’t overdo anything. I just do what makes sense, and I listen to my body.”

At 72, he isn’t chasing drastic solutions.
