Irwin Umban
🚹 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma | Testimonial dated April 2025.
The First Diagnosis & Temporary Remission
Irwin’s initial treatment involved 6 cycles of chemotherapy. The side effects were brutal—hair loss, vomiting, loss of appetite, and infections that required surgery.
In December 2022, a PET scan brought relieving results—there was no sign of cancer. Irwin believed the worst was behind him and began hoping for life to return to normal.
But just four months later, symptoms returned. He began to feel pressure behind one of his eyes, which led to further testing. A biopsy revealed that the lymphoma had returned—and this time, it had spread aggressively, forming a tumor the size of a golf ball behind his eyeball.
A Second Round of Chemotherapy—and a Dangerous Turn
With little choice, Irwin began another round of salvage chemotherapy but complications followed. He contracted COVID-19 and his condition rapidly deteriorated. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was placed in an isolation room with 24/7 oxygen support for 2 weeks.
Stage 4—and the Lowest Point
After recovering from COVID, Irwin continued with two more cycles of chemotherapy. However, a subsequent PET scan revealed that the cancer had not only persisted but had now spread to his bones and organs. It was now classified as Stage 4.
For Irwin and his family, the news was crushing. Months of pain and aggressive treatment had seemingly led nowhere.
A New Path (July 2023)
In the midst of despair, Irwin connected with survivors who encouraged him to explore other options. He was introduced to a new approach: a blend of herbal treatments, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and immunotherapy. For the first time, he embraced an integrative model—combining the best of allopathic medicine with traditional and holistic healing.
A Stunning Recovery
In September 2023, two months after starting the integrative regimen, Irwin went in for a follow-up PET scan. The results stunned everyone—there was no trace of cancer.
Though cautious at first, Irwin and his wife, Dr.Jean stuck to the integrative path. They continued the combined treatment plan with discipline, focusing on herbs, nutrition, and immune support.
Sustained Remission and a New Chapter
A follow-up scan in March 2024 confirmed he was still in remission. Irwin has since stepped away from hospital-based care, choosing instead to focus on a disciplined anti-cancer lifestyle & diet supported by herbal and natural therapies.
